Effective January 1, 2027, the following products:
fuses, small electric motors, electric drills, electric grinders, hammer drills,
DC arc welders, TIG arc welders, MIG/MAG arc welding machines, plasma arc cutting machines,
automotive safety glass, automotive seat belts, automotive external lighting and light signaling devices,
automotive indirect vision devices, automotive seats and head restraints, automotive driving recorders, and vehicle body reflective markings.
These 16 types of products may not be shipped, sold, imported, or used in other business activities unless they have obtained a CCC certification certificate and display the CCC certification mark.
Self-declarations for relevant products in the “Compulsory Certification Product Conformity Self-Declaration Information Reporting System” shall be collectively revoked.

Last month, we supported client's laser rangefinder for obtaining PSC-mark certification from JQA successfully.

During the past two months (April & May, 2004), we supported four Steel Struction Production Factories in China for obtaining the Japanese H-Grade Steel Struction Evaluation audited by Japan Steel Structure Appraisal Center. (This factory evaulation also leads to obtaining the certification from the Minister of Land,Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.)
Japan Steel Structure Evaluation is stricter than other countries, extra consulation is more necessary. The product made by certified factories will contribute to the hosting of Osaka-Kansai Expo.

As a safety measure for online shopping, the government will amend related laws and require
overseas businesses that sell products to appoint a person in charge of safety management and
troubleshooting in Japan starting in 2025.
The reason for this is the increasing number of accidents caused by overseas products purchased online
that violate national safety standards, leading to growing calls for stricter regulations.
